Midwest Generator Solutions Hits the Road

Last month, the team at Midwest Generator Solutions hit the road to Nashville, TN to attend the 2017 Generac Generator Annual Conference. It was a great opportunity to meet with others who share our passion of bringing quality generator sales, generator service, and generator maintenance to our communities. We learned more about a company that we already appreciate, and we were able to get a sneak-peak at some new technology coming from Generac Generators.

New Generac Generators Technologies

One of our favorite parts of the Generac Generators conference is that we had the opportunity to learn about some of the newest technologies that will soon be launched by Generac. Two of the biggest updates in technology from Generac are a three-phase 22kw air-cooled unit, and a Wi-Fi alert system.

Three-Phase 22kw Air-Cooled Unit

Generac is preparing to launch what will be a true game-changer in light commercial industry generators. Nothing else on the market compares to Generac’s new three-phase 22kw air-cooled unit. The unit itself is smaller in size, and because it is air-cooled, it is a less expensive version than its larger, less-effective counterparts. With fewer components, there are fewer possibilities for technical problems, so it will be longer-lasting as well. This new unit will make owning a generator possible for many companies that previously thought it was financially out of reach for them. It is a very cost-effective commercial application unit, and is truly one-of-a-kind in the industry today.

Wi-Fi Alert System for Generac Generators

Launching sometime in the summer, Generac is bringing generator use, generator service, and generator maintenance online. There will be a wifi alert system that allow users to stay in contact with their generator, no matter their geographical location – whether they are down the block, or across an ocean. This will allow users even greater peace-of-mind from their generator. They will now have the ability to receive notifications to any Wi-Fi-enabled device, so they know when their generator is operating and why. There will even be a platform for the dealer to receive an alert if the generator needs service, and the dealer can even remotely service and reset the generator. The wifi alert system will come standard with many new generators produced after the launch, and there will be an option to retrofit existing generators in the future.

The team here at Midwest Generator Solutions looks forward to bringing these new products and technologies to our customers in Indianapolis and Central Indiana.
