AC nameplate sticker with lock rotor amp is usually white in color and either on the top left corner on the front or the back right corner near the bottom. It has a lot of numbers on it in addition to the LRA number.
Most generators are required to be 5’ from a window, door, vent, 12 foot from a furnace intake and at least 18" from a home. In addition they need at least 36" on either side.
Most units are 48" long and 28 wide.
If you do not have natural gas or propane you will provide a fuel source to the generator location.
Diesel Generators are available but are typically substantially more expensive than NG or Propane.
